Entering our 15th Year of Operation

Hello... and Goodbye

This year has brought some important changes to Evergreen's leadership team.

After many years of dedicated service, David Jeal has stepped down as Chairman. We're delighted that David will continue to support Evergreen as a Trustee. The role of Chair is now shared by Jean Henson and Becky Mayfield.

We're also pleased to welcome Dave St Pier as our new Treasurer.

At the same time, we say a heartfelt thank you to Dr Merla Marsden, who has retired as a Trustee after serving Evergreen since it was first established in Sleaford. Her commitment and dedication have helped shape the charity into what it is today, and we appreciate her involvement over the years.

We're equally delighted to welcome two new Trustees to the team: Ann Munro and Faith Hopkins. We look forward to working with them as Evergreen continues to grow and develop.

269 people have been befriended since commencement as at 31 March 2026. Currently we have 52 friendships in place with 29 in Sleaford and its immediate location and 23 in surrounding villages within our 10 mile radius criteria.

If you can spare an hour or two every week to help us end loneliness and isolation to those aged 70+ please contact us either via email: evergreen.sleaford@gmail.com or telephone 07707260822 or use the forms on this website.

Thank you
